Book Discussion
Students will create open ended questions as a group and then other grupes will answer them in a large class discussion an exciting and fun way for students to work on reading comprehension skills, and remember important parts of the text
Group Study
it is always best for students to learn together, helping each other is a great way to understand, especially when they get a study guide to look at and a chance to ask the entire class and the teacher for help on any questions there confused about
Show Offs
A show off will replace the tests students take in most other classes, wording it differently helps students not panic over an upcoming 'test' and encourages students to get excited to "show off" their skills.
Vocabulary
Each student will receive a word from there vocab list to look up, they will then find the definition and explain it when the word comes up. Mrs. Alley then writes the definition on the board so every student can copy it down, so they can make vocab cards and quizzes
